TELESCOPIC SHAFTS

Consisting of two single Hookes type universal joints linked with a telescopic splined section.

These shafts are designed for applications where not only angular movement but where large axial movement of drive and driven shafts occur, such as mechanisms in automated machinery and rising spindles in actuators or valves.

Manufactured in alloy steel, plane bearing and needle roller bearing types are available in 11 standard diameter sizes each with 4 length options. Static breaking torques range from 180NM to 5300NM. Working angles up to 35°.
